Papaia and the Passport Swap

The families arrive at check-in.

The staff see the children and give each of them a toy passport.

During the flight, Banani’s twins cause chaos.

When the gate call comes, Papaia looks for the bag containing all the important stuff.

He can’t find it, but one of the twins hands it to him.

Papaia

Ah, thanks, little one.

Once they arrive at their destination, the group joins the queue at border control.

It’s their turn, and Papaia, who’s in charge of keeping all the documents safe, opens the important-stuff bag.

Officer

Passports, please.

Papaia

Oh, yes, here you go…

Papaia takes the passports out of the bag and hands them to the officer.

Officer

Excuse me, but what are these?

Papaia looks at the passports… they’re the toy ones.

Meanwhile, back at the departure airport, a fast-food employee shows something to his colleague.

Employee 1

Hey! Look at this!

Employee 2

That’s unbelievable!

Among the wrappers and rubbish left behind by a group of customers are the children’s drawings.

Mixed in with the activity sheets provided by the restaurant are some real passports.

They’re Papaia’s and the others’… all scribbled over with felt-tip pens.

Employee 1

Imagine the look on their faces when they found out…

Employee 2

Well, you see something new at this airport every day.

Meanwhile, at the destination airport, Papaia and the rest of the group are being escorted to the deportation lounge.

The Mannequin’s Shoes

One of Banani’s twins refuses to stay in the pushchair.

The group has cleared security and is running through duty-free, already late for their flight.

Near a ridiculously expensive designer boutique, the little one has a full-blown tantrum.

Banani struggles to stop a mannequin from falling over, dressed in designer clothes and accessories with three-digit price tags.

After a brief struggle, the situation is resolved, and the dash to the gate continues.

They make it by the skin of their teeth.

On the plane, Banani sits down with a sigh of relief. The little one is strapped into the seat beside him.

Everything’s fine…

Then Banani feels something in his pocket. He reaches in and finds a shoe…

A £500 shoe that belongs to the mannequin.

Airport Scare

In the chaos of the airport, one of Banani’s twins, his little girl, gets lost in the crowd.

Banani rushes desperately to airport security.

Banani

Shut down the airport! My daughter is missing!

Officer

What is she wearing?

Banani

A white T-shirt and blue shorts.

The officer asks Banani for more details: her age, height and eye colour.

Then he tells Banani to sit down on a bench and wait.

Minutes later, officers spot a little girl matching Banani’s description, leaving the airport with a young couple.

They stop them.

Officer

Stop! We’ve got a child here wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts!

Man

But she’s our daughter…

Officer

That’s what they all say!

Woman

But we’ve got her birth certificate.

Officer

We’ll see about that.

The officers take the little girl away from the couple and bring her to Banani.

The couple are detained and taken to an interrogation room.

Meanwhile, Banani and his wife wait for news.

Wife

Look, they’re coming…

Banani

They’ve found her!

Officer

Here she is: white T-shirt, blue shorts, green eyes.

Banani

Erm… I’m not sure that’s her…

Wife

Banani, where on earth is your head?! Clementina is wearing a red dress and has brown eyes!

Banani looks surprised and embarrassed.

Officer

Excuse me, sir, but you don’t even know what your own daughter is wearing?

Banani’s embarrassment is interrupted by a strange noise coming from their luggage.

Suddenly, his daughter pops out of the hiding place she’s made among their suitcases.

Banani’s Daughter

Peekaboo!

Banani

Sweetheart! Have you been hiding in there this whole time?

Daughter

Do you like the little house I made, Daddy?
