Three scientists—Papaia, Banani, and Ravioli—and their assistant Igor, who are supposed to attend the famous dark matter conference, board the wrong flight and end up on the other side of the world. After arriving at the wrong airport, they book a hotel for the night, but it’s not exactly what they expected… in the sense that it’s awful.
After a rough night, they also get stuck in the elevator.
We are in the elevator, where the four are trapped.
Banani: Is it possible that no one has contacted us?
Ravioli: What if no one even knows?
Papaia: We’ve been shouting and banging on the walls for hours.
Banani: Remember those strange noises we heard?
Ravioli: Now that I think about it, we didn’t pay much attention, but they could have been other guests trapped in this elevator!
Papaia: Since we saw the “Out of Service” sign, we ignored everything else!
Banani: That means…
Ravioli: That no one is coming to get us out of here!
Papaia: But then… what happened to the people who were trapped here before us?
Banani: That’s true! They must have been rescued this morning!
Ravioli: Maybe they were rescued… or maybe…
Banani: Maybe what?
Ravioli: Guys, that concierge is a weird guy! Last night I had a nightmare about him!
Banani: Are you saying he could be a psychopath?
Ravioli: Maybe he’s going to kill us all, just like he did with the ones before us!
Papaia: Come on! Panic is making you exaggerate!
Banani: Maybe, but I don’t want to wait around to find out!
Ravioli: You said it, Banani! We need to find a way to get out of here!
Igor: If you ask me, this could be a trap to sell our organs on the black market. In that case, the concierge made a terrible deal… I don’t know how much they’re worth, but definitely less than the damage these three will do to the hotel trying to escape!
