Paul’s Conversion

Three renowned scientists—Papaia, Banani, Ravioli—and their assistant Igor work at the NASAL observatory.
Ravioli accidentally bought a book, which turns out to be very interesting.

We are at the airport, where Ravioli and Banani are discussing Ravioli’s book while Papaia searches for a flight to the conference.

Ravioli: “Yes, and Paul himself mentions another oral tradition that talks about him. In Galatians 1:23, Paul writes:
‘They only heard the report: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”‘

And also in Galatians 1:13, he writes: ‘For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it.'”

Banani: And then Paul claims to have met Jesus.

Ravioli: Yes, in 1 Corinthians 15:8, he himself adds to the list of eyewitnesses, writing in verse 8: ‘… and last of all, he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.’

Banani: Not only did Jesus appear to him, but He also revealed the gospel to him.

Ravioli: In Galatians 1:11-12, he writes: ‘I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.’

Igor: So, Banani… We could say you had a revelation too… except yours involved the street pavement!
