Break time arrives.
Ravioli rushes to the break room, but forgets a can he brought from home on Papaia’s desk.
Papaia stays in the office instead. He still has a couple of things to finish.
While working, he absentmindedly finds the can with his hand.
Without thinking, he drinks the whole thing, crushes the can, and throws it in the trash. But it’s the wrong bin.
Right at that moment, the cleaner arrives, changes the trash bag, and takes the old one away.
Ravioli eats his sandwich while watching TV in the break room.
A commercial comes on: a can with a golden pull tab is opened.
The voice-over says:
Voice-over
“Open the golden tab and win €50,000!”
Ravioli remembers the can.
He runs back to the office, but it’s too late.
Ravioli
“Where did my can go?”
Papaia
“Oh, sorry! I drank it without thinking…”
Ravioli
“Did you look at the tab?”
Papaia
“The tab?”
Ravioli finds the pull tab on the desk.
It’s gold.
Ravioli
“It’s the winning can! They just said it on TV!”
Papaia
“Winning? How much?”
They begin a frantic race to the dumpster, but it’s useless.
There are far too many identical trash bags.
Having lost all hope, and covered in garbage, they return to the office completely dejected.
The next morning, the boss walks into their office and slams a piece of paper onto Papaia’s desk.
Boss
“You’re paying for this!”
Papaia looks at it.
It’s a €100 fine for putting the can in the wrong trash bin.
