Banani needs a cup of tea.
He fills the kettle and turns it on, but as the water heats up, he thinks he can smell broccoli.
He remembers that his wife cooked broccoli the night before.
Banani
“I knew it! Any pot will do for her! This time, she’s going to hear about it!”
To confirm his suspicion, Banani leans over and smells the kettle, but the steam immediately burns his nose.
Startled by the intense pain, he instinctively jerks his head backward and smacks it against a kitchen cabinet door he had left open.
He passes out.
His wife walks into the kitchen a moment later.
Wife
“Darling? Did you wash the broccoli pot? I forgot it in the sink last night.”
She sees Banani unconscious on the floor and panics.
The kettle finishes boiling and automatically switches itself off.
