Papaya’s latest gags.

Banani sleeps in the bathroom.
---

The two-year-old twins, as usual, are destroying everything.

On weekends, the tiny apartment is a battlefield.

Banani’s five children jump, scream, fight, and break things.

Screams, tears, broken plates, and food smeared in the most unexpected places, Banani and his wife are seeing double (or rather, quadruple) from stress, exhaustion, and countless nights of lost sleep.

Banani is trying to wash the dishes while one of the twins spills an open jar of tomato sauce all over the kitchen floor.

His wife, who is on the phone with the company accountant trying to solve a problem, yells at him:

Wife
“Clean up the floor!”

Meanwhile, the other twin is climbing the glass shelving unit in the living room.

Banani runs to prevent the worst from happening.

At some point, the situation seems to have temporarily calmed down. Banani asks for permission to take a short break.

Banani
“Darling… I’m going to the bathroom for a minute.”

Wife
(from the other room)
“Yes, but don’t take too long.”

Once inside the bathroom, Banani closes the door behind him. The tiny bathroom is the only room in the entire house that is still clean and tidy.

Banani sits down on the toilet and lets out a sigh of relief. In reality, he doesn’t actually need to go. He just needs a break from the chaos.

Our hero turns on the tap just slightly. The sound of the running water sounds to him like a waterfall in an oasis.

His eyelids grow heavy and his head starts to spin slightly.

Suddenly, Banani realizes he would give anything for half an hour of sleep in there.

Half an hour later, a jet of freezing cold water wakes him up as it runs over his head.

Banani’s eyes snap open. For a moment, he has no idea where he is.

Then the weight of reality, and the shower hose, comes crashing down on him.

He had curled up on the shower floor, but one of the twins spotted him and turned on the cold water, of course.

Banani looks up.

Standing in the doorway is his wife, staring at him sternly with her hands on her hips.

Wife
“Do you think it's fair?”

Banani wants to say something, but the guilt burns even more than the freezing water pouring over his head.

Banani opens his mouth to answer, but one of the twins rubs a soapy sponge right across his face.

Getting Rid of the Coins.
---

Papaia goes to the supermarket to do some grocery shopping. He decides to take the opportunity to get rid of all the coins he has accumulated.

Papaia buys some frozen pizzas.

When he gets to the checkout, the cashier gives him the total.

Cashier
“That’ll be thirty euros. Would you like a bag?”

Papaia
“Yes, please.”

Cashier
“Then it’s thirty euros and thirty cents.”

Papaia
“Oh… then no.”

Cashier
“Okay. Cash or card?”

Papaia
“Would you mind if I paid with coins?”

The cashier wrinkles her nose.

Cashier
“Yeah, sure.”

Papaia starts counting his coins. The customers in line begin to grow impatient.

When he gets to €29.50, he runs out of coins.

Papaia
“Oh! I’m fifty cents short.”

Cashier
“Do you want to take something out?”

Papaia
“No, I need everything.”

Cashier
“Do you have some bill? Or you can pay by card.”

Papaia looks inside his wallet.

Papaia
“Oh, here we go!”

He pulls out a banknote.

It’s a €100 bill.

Papaia
“I only have this.”

Cashier
“Don’t you have a smaller one?”

Papaia
“No, that’s all I have.”

Cashier
“Okay.”

The cashier gives him his coins back, and Papaia temporarily places them on top of the pizza box.

Cashier
“I’m sorry, but I only have coins for change.”

Papaia makes a dumbfounded face.

The cashier gives him €70 in coins as change.

The line behind him lets out a collective sigh of impatience.

Once the transaction is over, Papaia puts all the coins together on top of the pizza box.

Cashier
“Are you collecting the stickers?”

Papaia
“Yes, thank you.”

The cashier counts the stickers and hands them to Papaia, who counts them again just to make sure.

Papaia
“Excuse me, how many stickers do I need for the teapot?”

Cashier
“Three hundred and fifty.”

Papaia checks his card.

He only has 349.

Papaia
“I’m missing one.”

Cashier
“Then you can get it next time. Or, if you want, there’s the napkin holder.”

Papaia
“Oh, no… I already have that.”

Someone in the line complains.

Cashier
“Have a nice day. Thank you.”

Under pressure from the people waiting, Papaia turns around to leave as quickly as possible.

But he forgets about the €70 in coins sitting on the pizza box.

They immediately slide off, hitting the floor and scattering everywhere—including right between the customers’ feet.

Papaia finally makes it home, where he meets his wife.

Wife
“Did you get rid of the coins?”
---

The Strategic Update
---

Papaia gets in line at the checkout.

The line is long.

Finally, there is only one person ahead of him.

The cashier and the customer stare at each other for five minutes without doing anything.

Papaia asks what happened.

The cashier replies:

Cashier
“A system update.”

In reality, she was just taking a break.
---

Lost in the Desert.
---

They show up at NASAL as usual.

As soon as they arrive, the boss calls them into his office.

Boss
“Go test the new observatory in the desert.”

They get in the car. Papaia drives, Banani reads the map upside down, and Ravioli eats some extremely smelly cheese-flavored crackers.

Igor takes the opportunity to fill a few more pages of his notebook, as usual.

Of course, they never make it to the observatory.

Instead, they get lost and run out of gas.

They start wandering through the desert on foot.

Banani finally turns the map the right way around.

After hours of walking, they are almost dying of thirst.

Igor writes his will in his notebook.

Ravioli and Banani can barely speak.

Ravioli
“We’re going to die out here…”

Banani
“Check the backpack again.”

Ravioli searches through it again and finds a rotten meatball wrapped in a paper napkin.

Ravioli
“We have this…”

Banani
“Put it away immediately!”

Papaia sees a mirage.

Papaia
“Look… an oasis!”

Papaia runs toward nothing.

He collapses after a few meters.

The others lose consciousness too.

Papaia opens his eyes again.

Rescuers are standing in front of him.

They load them onto a helicopter.

As they fly toward the hospital, Papaia looks inside the laptop bag.

Then he slaps his forehead.

The others look at him.

Banani
“What did you do?”

Papaia pulls out a water bottle.

It is full of water.
---

Banani and family video calls.
---
During family video calls, Banani’s parents always make vague remarks implying that they think their son is a complete idiot.

But Banani never realizes it.
---

The Bank Call
---

Papaia, in a moment of anger, gives a like to a video in which a journalist speaks out against a politician who is involved with the Mafia and presents all the evidence against him.

The owner of the channel disappears.

The video goes viral through Papaia’s channel, as he was the first person to like and leave a comment to it.

Papaia only realizes what has happened when it is already too late, he tries but he can’t undo the share.

Hitmen sent by the politician pretend to be bank employees and call Papaia, asking him to come to the bank’s underground parking garage for a “settling of accounts.”

The others warn him that it is obviously a trap, but Papaia is stubborn.

Papaia’s car is broken down, so he decides to take the bus. The problem is he has left his wallet at home.

In the end, he asks the others to lend him some money so he can pay for the bus and make it to the ambush.

That’s when Igor’s jokes begin.
---

Ravioli Fails the Course
---

NASAL buys a new telescope and organizes a training course for Papaia and the others.

Instead of paying attention, Ravioli spends the whole course eating snacks he has hidden in his pockets.

The course ends, and everyone starts working at their new stations.

Ravioli, who hasn’t listened to a single thing, gets everything wrong.

The boss calls him into his office and sends him back to take the course again—this time with a final exam.

Ravioli does as he’s told, and eventually exam day arrives.

His colleagues anxiously wait outside the examination room.

When the scheduled time is over, the participants come out, followed by Ravioli.

The others immediately ask him how it went.

Banani
“So? How did it go?”

Ravioli
“I got a 7.”

Banani
“Oh, then you passed.”

Papaia
“Congratulations!”

While they are still talking, Paco also comes out of the room.

Papaia
“Paco! You had the exam too?”

Banani
“What did you get?”

Paco
“21 out of 30! Barely passed…”

The others slowly turn toward Ravioli with serious expressions.

As usual, Ravioli pretends nothing is wrong and pulls something out of his lab coat pocket.

Ravioli
“Anyone want a candy?”
---

Ravioli Opens the Wrong Door
---

The alarm goes off.

NASAL is evacuated.

The staff gathers at the assembly point.

Papaia, Banani, and Igor come running.

They turn around.

The building is on fire.

Banani
“Where’s Ravioli?”

Papaia
“I don’t know.”

Igor
“There he is… hard to miss.”

Ravioli walks calmly out of the building.

Banani
“Where were you? Didn’t you see that the whole place is on fire?”

The sound of fire truck sirens can be heard approaching in the distance.

Ravioli
“Oh, sorry… I needed to use the bathroom, but I think I opened the wrong door.”

Papaia
“What door did you open?”

BOOM.

A massive explosion sends them all flying to the ground.

Dust.

Silence.

When they get back up, NASAL is gone.

There is nothing left but a crater.

Ravioli
“The wrong one… apparently.”

Igor opens his mouth to make a joke…

But at that exact moment, a piece of red-hot sheet metal falls from the sky and lands right between them.
---

Papaia Drinks an Abandoned Can.
---

They are on their way to the company dinner.

As usual, Papaia is the only one who knows the way.

The others follow him without bothering to help him find the route.

When they get close to the restaurant, Papaia’s phone rings. He starts a long conversation with the family group.

Instead of stopping, he keeps walking absentmindedly, wandering randomly.

The others continue to follow him.

While talking, he leans against the low wall of a house.

The others signal to him to hang up, but Papaia is so absorbed in the conversation that he doesn’t even consider it.

Papaia
“…yeah… no… but I told you… what?! And you still believe her?… She only did it to get a free dinner…”

Papaia has completely lost touch with reality and thinks he is at home. He reaches out and grabs a can that a stranger has left behind.

The moment he tastes it, his expression changes.

Weeks later.

His colleagues go to visit him in the hospital.

They enter his room and ask how things are going.

Banani
“So… what did the doctor say?”

Papaia
(with a face as pale as a sheet)
“Nothing this week. Maybe I’ll get out next week.”

Ravioli
“Still, hepatitis is a serious thing…”

Banani
“But what on earth made you drink a can that a stranger had left on the street?”

Igor says nothing.

He takes out his phone.

A video recorded a month earlier starts playing on the screen.

It shows Papaia and the others walking past the exact same low wall.

While talking on the phone with his aunt, Papaia stops, places a can on the wall, and then walks away without ever ending the call.

Igor
“Sometimes, the real strangers are ourselves…”
---

The Train with a Bathroom.
---

They take the train to the airport.

While they wait to arrive, Ravioli eats a lukewarm panzerotto he bought at the station.

On the third bite, he suddenly has to run to the bathroom.

Banani
“I told you so!”

Igor
“Thank goodness this train has a toilet… Thank goodness… for us!”

Banani
“But aren’t we almost there?”

Papaia
“No, we still have a little while to go.”

Time passes, and Ravioli still doesn’t come out of the toilet.

The others start chatting and don’t pay much attention to him.

Only a few minutes remain before their stop, and Ravioli is still trapped in, sweating with stomach cramps.

Their stop arrives.

The other three get off and head toward the exit, continuing their interesting conversation.

As the three of them make their way toward the taxis, the train pulls away—with Ravioli still trapped in the bathroom, unable to get off the toilet.
---

Banani Rides His Suitcase
---

At the airport, Banani decides to ride his suitcase as if it were a horse or a motorcycle.

But he falls flat on his face in front of everyone.
---

The Door to the Taxis
---

As they leave the airport, they look for the taxi exit.

The signs point toward a door blocked by construction work.

After trying all the other doors without being able to reach the taxis, they stop to think.

Banani
“Why can’t we get to the taxis through the other doors?”

Igor
“Maybe because the right door is the one that’s blocked?”

Papaia peeks through the blocked door.

Right in front of it is the construction site, with a sign saying NO UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS.

Papaia
“There must be another way…”

They go around and try all the doors again, but nothing.

As they head back toward the blocked door, they encounter a guy talking to himself.

Ravioli
(whispering)
“Is he crazy?”

Igor
“Yes. He was a passenger on the flight that landed before ours… He was looking for the taxis too.”

Eventually, they see a group of passengers coming through the blocked door and not coming back.

They go over to investigate and, through the door, see the group getting into a taxi.

At that moment, an airport employee walks by, and they stop him.

Papaia
“Excuse me, how do we get to the taxis?”

Employee
“You have to go through the construction site.”

Papaia
“But there’s a no-entry sign…”

Employee
“I know. Go underneath it.”
---

The Ride That’s Too Expensive
---

They finally reach the taxis.

Papaia shows the taxi driver the name of their hotel.

Papaia
“Excuse me, how much would the ride be?”

Taxi Driver
“You don’t need a taxi.”

The driver points toward a field in front of them.

Taxi Driver
“You just have to cross that field. What is it… 300 meters? The hotel is right over there.”

Papaia
“Excuse me, but there’s a ‘Private Property’ sign over there…”

Taxi Driver
“Yes, I know… but everyone goes through there.”

Ravioli
“Come on, Papaia, let’s do what he says… We can walk.”

Papaia
“I don’t feel like ending up in a ditch or getting chased by guard dogs.”

Banani
“Excuse me, but can’t you take us there?”

Taxi Driver
“Yes, but it’s not worth it for you…”

Banani
“Why? How much does it cost?”

Taxi Driver
“100 euros.”

Banani
“100 euros?! But you said it’s just on the other side!”

Taxi Driver
“Yes, but then I lose my place in line… I’m not leaving this spot for less than 100 euros.”

Banani
“Ah… I see…”

Papaia and Ravioli start arguing.

Papaia wants to pay for the taxi, while Ravioli wants to walk and save the money for later at the restaurant.

In the end, they get lost in the countryside near the airport.
---

A “Personalized” Dish
---

At the hotel restaurant, Banani pays €30 for a plate of pasta.

The waiter, without being seen, combines the leftovers from the plates of a table that is being cleared and serves them to Banani.

Banani is amazed by how quickly the food arrives.

He takes a bite and finds a piece of paper napkin in his mouth.

He calls the waiter over and complains, but to no avail.

Waiter
“I’m sorry, but you still have to pay.”

Igor
“What exactly for? Our sins, or the consequences of a bad decision?”

Since they have to pay anyway, Ravioli decides to take care of it himself and cleans the plate.

Papaia hides his face behind the menu.

Banani stares at Ravioli in amazement and disgust.

The waiter, who has come over to clear the table, looks at the empty plate as if Ravioli had stolen something from him.

Igor notices and makes a joke.

Igor
“Well… at least Ravioli saved you some dishwashing liquid. The plate is already clean for the next customer.”
---

Midnight Notes
---

After dinner, Banani puts the ketchup packets he found on the table into his pocket.

During the night, he wakes up with an idea.

Having no paper or pen, he writes the formula on the hotel walls using ketchup.

The next morning, Papaia gets a fine.
---

A Hearty Breakfast
---

The next morning, at 7 a.m., they find the same waiter who served them dinner the night before working at the breakfast buffet.

Ravioli has breakfast, then goes back up to the room to use the bathroom.

Then he comes back down for breakfast again.

He repeats the whole thing three times.

Since the breakfast is free, technically nobody can say anything.

The waiter angrily slams a cappuccino down in front of him on the table.

Igor realizes that the waiter is probably also the owner of the hotel.

Pretending to look around in admiration, he makes a comment.

Igor
“Wow! What a huge hotel… I imagine you must have hundreds of employees.”
---

Banani, the “Exceptional” Guest
---

While Ravioli keeps going back and forth between his room and the hotel breakfast, Banani stops in front of the register, expecting someone to ask for his room number.

Papaia, on the other hand, walks right past him, grabs a tray, and calls out to him.

Papaia
“Come on, Banani! Come on, it’s free.”

But Banani, just to be safe, stays where he is and waits for confirmation from the waiter.

The waiter sees him, walks over to the register, and calls him over.

Waiter
“Room number?”

Banani
“414.”

Waiter
“I’m sorry, but that room isn’t on the list. That’ll be €30.”

Banani
“What? Isn’t it free?”

Waiter
“Only for the rooms on the list.”

While Ravioli loads his plate with the last cream-filled croissants, Banani grudgingly pays by card.
---

The Queue Park
---

The boss calls them into his office.

The four of them walk in.

Papaia
“Here we are, boss.”

The boss hands Papaia some leaflets.

Banani
“Are we fired?”

Boss
“Not yet… They’re complimentary tickets to a new theme park.”

Banani
“A theme park? What does that have to do with us?”

Boss
“Let’s just say times are tough, and NASAL is making some extra money through its review channel.”

Igor
“Reviews? Ah, I see… At least it still has something to do with stars.”

Boss
“Very funny… It would be even funnier if one of you actually got a calculation right for once.”

Igor
“Don’t worry, boss. This time Papaia only has to count to five… he can do it using one hand.”

Boss
“Go… and bring your families.”

That weekend, they arrive at the park.

Papaia and the others have brought their wives and children.

Strangely, there is no line at the entrance.

As they approach the entrance, Ravioli reminds Banani:

Ravioli
“Did you bring the camera?”

Banani
“Yes, of course.”

Ravioli
“Film everything… don’t forget!”

Papaia shows the tickets to the attendant.

Attendant
“Ah, you’re the NASAL people here for the review! Come on in… we’ve been expecting you.”

Papaia
“Excuse me, but isn’t there supposed to be a line at the entrance?”

Attendant
(laughing)
“No! The fun is inside.”

Nobody understands what he means, but they go in anyway.

Once inside, the theme park is beautifully designed and visually impressive.

The group chooses one of the attractions and gets in line.

Half an hour passes, and they slowly move forward step by step.

Along the way there are elaborate environmental sculptures and character statues, music, and sound effects.

Eventually, they reach the front of the line.

It’s their turn.

Two park employees dressed as mascots open the barriers to let them through.

Banani
“Finally! I can’t wait.”

But after walking through a corridor, there is nothing at the end.

Just an exit leading back into the park plaza.

Everyone stops, wearing expressions of surprise and disbelief.

Ravioli
“What happened? Where’s the ride?”

Papaia
“I think we took the wrong exit…”

Banani
“But there was only one!”

Igor
“Excuse me, but apart from you guys, there’s no attraction here.”

Papaia
“Hmm… strange.”

The group tries another attraction.

They get in line, slowly move forward for half an hour, and then come out into the middle of the park again, with no attraction to ride.

This goes on all day.

As they are leaving, Papaia asks an employee for information.

Papaia
“Excuse me, but how do we get to the rides?”

Employee
“What rides?”

Papaia
“The ones that are supposed to be at the end of the lines.”

Employee
“What do you need rides for when you have the lines?”

Papaia
“Huh?”

Employee
“This is the park with nothing but lines.”

Papaia
“But how is that possible?”

Employee
“According to our market research, 90% of the theme-park experience consists of waiting in line.

“So we removed the other 10% and gave you a discount on the ticket.”

Igor
“Brilliant!”

Ravioli
“You know what? The guy’s right.

“By the end of the day, I’m exhausted, my feet hurt, and I’m completely zonked from that little tune playing over and over.

“I can’t tell the difference between this and any other theme park.”

Banani
“There is one difference… A bottle of water from the kiosk costs only one euro.”

Papaia
“…and there’s never a line for the bathroom.”

Igor
“Of course. Here, the line is considered a valuable asset…”

Employee
“Well, gentlemen, we’re counting on your review!”
---

Banani Fixes the Bed
---

Banani enters the room.

He is about to lie down when he stops.

He notices a crooked board.

Banani
“Wait… this isn’t supposed to be like this.”

He fixes the board with tape.

Then another.

Then another.

Eventually, he has rebuilt the entire bed with tape.

Banani wipes the sweat from his forehead.

Banani
“Now I can finally sleep.”

He jumps onto the bed.

The bed collapses.

Banani gets trapped among tape and broken pieces of wood.

Banani
“Well, at least the tape holds.”
---

Banani Fixes His Glasses
---

The four of them are walking fairly quickly down a corridor at NASAL.

Banani lowers his head to check a note he is holding.

His glasses fall off, and Ravioli steps on them.

Banani stops to pick them up. The glasses are badly damaged.

Banani
"Ravioli! Could you be more careful?”

Ravioli
“Sorry… but the same goes for you…”

Banani looks at the glasses. One of the arms has come off, and one of the lenses has popped out of the frame.

Banani
“Well…”

Banani pulls out some tape and repairs the glasses in just a few minutes.

The repair is so perfect that you can barely tell the difference.

A female colleague happens to walk by and greets Banani, but a gust of wind blows a sheet of paper out of her hands and sends it flying straight toward Banani’s face.

Instead of falling to the floor, the paper sticks to the adhesive on the tape around the glasses frame.

The colleague walks over and retrieves the paper without having to bend down.

She thanks Banani and walks away.

Igor
“Before, you were just a guy with glasses… now you’ve become a walking bulletin board.

“What’s the next extra feature your head is going to have? A calendar glued to your forehead?”
---

Banani and the Tea
---

Banani needs a cup of tea.

He fills the kettle and turns it on, but as the water heats up, he thinks he can smell broccoli.

He remembers that his wife cooked broccoli the night before.

Banani
“I knew it! Any pot will do for her! This time, she’s going to hear about it!”

To confirm his suspicion, Banani leans over and smells the kettle, but the steam immediately burns his nose.

Startled by the intense pain, he instinctively jerks his head backward and smacks it against a kitchen cabinet door he had left open.

He passes out.

His wife walks into the kitchen a moment later.

Wife
“Darling? Did you wash the broccoli pot? I forgot it in the sink last night.”

She sees Banani unconscious on the floor and panics.

The kettle finishes boiling and automatically switches itself off.
---

The Fart Closet
---

During the coffee break, Papaia explains his idea to the others.

Papaia
“A cosmology seminar. I already have my first students. That’s guaranteed money.”

Igor
"Ok, but who’s supposed to teach? the students or you?”

Banani
“We’re going to need a room.”

Papaia
“Yes, I’ve already booked a viewing with the agency… We’re going to do this properly.”

Late in the afternoon, the four of them arrive for the viewing.

The place is somewhat hidden away.

Papaia
“What do you think of the location?”

Ravioli
“I don’t know… It took us an hour just to find the right address.”

Papaia
“Don’t worry. If the room is good, instructions on how to get there on social media will solve everything.”

The agent takes them upstairs, where a large hall used for parties and events opens up in front of them.

Papaia
“It’s perfect.”

Agent
“No, not this one. Follow me.”

The agent takes them to an attic room about the size of a bedroom.

Inside, boxes, broken furniture, and old equipment from previous events are piled up in the middle.

Papaia
“It’s an attic…”

Agent
“For €1,000 a month, this is all I can offer you.”

Papaia
“At least you’ll remove the furniture, right?”

Agent
“No. You’ll have to get rid of it yourselves. Otherwise, it’s another €300.”

Igor puts his hand against the low sloping ceiling.

Igor
“Well, at least we can save money on the telescope. To ‘see the stars,’ all we have to do is stand up quickly.”

Banani
“€1,000 is a lot… Don’t you have anything cheaper?”

The agent opens the broom closet.

Agent
“For €300, I can offer you this.”

Igor immediately covers his nose after noticing a strange smell.

Igor
“No, thanks. If I want to smell other people’s farts, all I need is two euros, a bus ticket, and a crowded bus stop.”

Papaia apologizes for the awkward remark.

Papaia
“Sorry about him… He thinks he’s funny. Anyway, we’ll think about it.”

Agent
“Yes, but decide quickly. We already have a couple interested in the broom closet.”

FLASHBACK — 15 MINUTES EARLIER

The agent is showing the attic to a couple.

Agent
“This one costs €1,000…”

Woman
“I don’t know…”

Man
“Don’t you have anything cheaper?”

Agent
“Of course. There’s this…”

The agent opens the closet.

Woman
“No… I don’t think so…”

Man
“Thanks. If anything else comes up, let us know.”

Agent
“Sure, just leave your number at the agency. Sorry I can’t walk you out, but the next viewing is already arriving.”

The agent sees them out, and the couple starts walking down the stairs.

As soon as the door closes, the agent stops and turns pale, suddenly clutching his stomach.

After making sure nobody is watching, he quickly slips into the closet and closes the door behind him.

Igor
“Papaia wanted to go big, but his budget is as small as that ‘fart closet’!”
---

The Smell of Steak
---

They arrive at the hotel and immediately smell grilled meat.

Banani assumes the restaurant must be good.

Ravioli remains silent.

Papaia starts checking in at the reception desk.

Banani
“What time does the restaurant close?”

The receptionist tells him there is no restaurant, only a bar, and it is currently closed.

Papaia hands over the registration form, and the receptionist asks him to pay for the room: €200.

Papaia looks for the cash, but then remembers he gave it to Ravioli.

Ravioli says he didn't.

In the end, they sit down on the sofa.

While they are arguing, a guest approaches Ravioli at the reception desk and returns a small glass bottle that he saw fall out of Ravioli’s pocket.

Papaia asks him for the bottle.

It turns out to be an expensive, famous perfume with a steak fragrance.

It costs €200.

Banani realizes where the money went.

Ravioli lowers his head in embarrassment.

Igor comments:

Igor
“Perfect… everyone has their own illusion. Ravioli wants to believe he’s always at a restaurant, and I was foolish enough to think that, just this once, I wouldn’t have to spend the night on the sofa.”
---

The Expensive Electrician
---

The power goes out at Papaia’s house.

Papaia resets the circuit breaker, but it keeps tripping.

His wife calls an electrician.

The electrician arrives and asks for €400.

They call the landlord.

Landlord
“Sorry, but why didn’t you call me first? I have an electrician from the insurance company.”

Papaia
“Oh, really? And now what?”

Landlord
“Put the electrician on the phone.”

Papaia hands the phone to the electrician, and they come to an agreement. Then the phone goes back to Papaia.

Landlord
“Listen, this is what we agreed on. The electrician will make the electrical system safe, and you’ll pay him. Then the insurance company’s electrician will come and finish the job.”

Papaia agrees.

The electrician fixes a couple of wires, then calls Papaia over and shows him the electrical panel.

Electrician
“Look. Everything works now, but I’ve bypassed the fuse. Tell the other electrician when he comes.”

Papaia
“Yes.”

Electrician
“You’ll remember, right?”

Papaia
“Yes, yes, of course.”

Electrician
“Please, it’s important!”

Papaia
“How much?”

Electrician
“120. No receipt.”

Papaia
“I’d need a receipt.”

Electrician
“With a receipt, it’s €400.”

Papaia
“Okay… forget it.”

Papaia pays him.

The next day, the phone rings.

Landlord
“The insurance company’s electrician is coming tomorrow. And please… don’t tell him that someone else has worked on the electrical system.”

Papaia
“Okay.”

Landlord
“Seriously, otherwise the insurance company will give me a hard time.”

Papaia
“Your secret is safe with me. You have my word.”

Papaia hangs up, then remembers what the first electrician told him.

The insurance company’s electrician arrives and examines the electrical panel.

Electrician
“Excuse me? Has someone bypassed the fuse?”

Papaia hesitates.

Papaia
“No… nobody.”

Electrician
“Are you sure?”

Papaia
“Yes.”

The electrician takes a screwdriver, sticks it into a screw on the bypassed circuit, and is instantly electrocuted.

He drops to the floor, dead.

Papaia calls the landlord.

Landlord
“Hello?”

Papaia
“Excuse me… about the insurance… does it cover household accidents too?”

Healthcare Abroad
---

Papaia travels abroad for a conference, but during his stay he becomes very ill.

Igor takes him to the hospital. Seeing Papaia’s condition, the nurse examines him, but warns him that medical care is not covered.

As they are leaving, the nurse calls them back and hands Igor a box of paracetamol and a piece of paper with a phone number on it.

Igor
“Excuse me? What’s the number for?”

Nurse
“If the paracetamol doesn’t work, call the number and the hospital will come and collect the body.”

Igor
“Ah… I see…”

Papaia, pale and trembling, looks at the piece of paper.

Papaia
“Excuse me? Is the ‘service’ free?”

Nurse
“Basically, yes. The hospital provides the plot of land, but your friend will have to rent a shovel.”

Without a Toothbrush
---

Papaia is stopped by airport customs and questioned because he isn’t carrying a toothbrush.
---

The Green Bag
---

During the measurements, Papaia asks Banani for “the green bag.”

Banani looks around, but among all the different bags, none of them is green.

The solar storm ends, and because of the mishap, they were unable to take any measurements.

The boss severely reprimands them and goes back to his office.

Banani looks at Papaia in disbelief.

Banani
“Where was that green bag?”

Papaia looks around and picks up a white bag with a thin green stripe.

Papaia
“This one?”

Banani
“What are you talking about? That bag isn’t green.”

Papaia
“Oh, it isn’t? Then what color is it?”

Banani
“It’s obviously white…”

Papaia brings the bag right up to Banani’s face.

Papaia
“White? How can you possibly say this is white?”

Banani is speechless.

Igor
“White or green? I don’t know. The only thing I do know is that the boss’s patience with us has become as thin as that green stripe.”

Banani Throws Eggs
---

After the company dinner, Banani stands outside the restaurant talking loudly late at night.

An egg hits him on the head.

He looks up, but can't see anyone.

He goes home and goes to bed, but outside, some teenagers are talking loudly in front of the bar.

Banani throws an egg out the window, but misses the teenagers and hits a huge guy who just happens to be walking by.

The guy sees him and goes upstairs to knock on Banani’s apartment door.

Banani spends the whole night hiding in the closet.

Mysterious Laughter
---

Banani is giving a presentation in front of his colleagues.

He makes a joke, and everyone laughs.

Then he continues seriously, showing the presentation.

Strangely, the audience laughs at everything he says.

Banani doesn't understand why.

The next day, he watches a recording of his presentation.

In the video, he makes the joke and the audience laughs quietly.

Then he turns around toward the projector screen, and the audience bursts out laughing.

His pants are ripped in the back…

…and he’s wearing Minecraft underwear.

Jokes and Reality
---

After leaving the airport, they get into a taxi.

Papaia shows the driver the address of the B&B, and they set off.

As they make their way to the address, Banani comes up with a joke.

Banani
“Imagine a B&B where all the locks are the same.”

The four of them find it hilarious and joke about it.

The taxi stops in front of the B&B, and they get out.

Banani
“Did you get the code?”

Papaia
“Yes. We have to follow the instructions.”

They follow the owner's instructions and retrieve the key, but they open the wrong door.

The tenant of the apartment, who was sleeping, is startled awake.

Tenant
“Who is it? I’m calling the police!”

The four of them run down the stairs.

Banani
“You opened the wrong door!”

Papaia
“Then why did the door open?”

Nobody has an answer.

They read the instructions more carefully.

They open another door.

Wrong again.

A tenant yells at them from the stairs.

Banani
“How is this possible?”

Papaia
“I don’t know.”

Ravioli
“I’ll tell you why… all the locks are the same!”

Banani
“I don’t believe this…”

Igor takes the key from Papaia and opens a random door behind him.

A frightened tenant starts shouting.

Tenant
“Burglars! Get out!”

Ravioli
“So Banani’s joke has become reality!”

Papaia
“Come on! I found our room.”

The four of them finally put down their luggage and can relax.

But the peace doesn't last long.

Papaia’s phone rings.

It’s the owner, calling furiously.

Owner
“Why didn’t you follow the instructions properly?!”

Papaia
“Excuse me, but why did you put identical locks on all the doors?”

Owner
“That’s why you were supposed to follow the instructions carefully!”

Igor
“Sometimes the reality of being cheap is more absurd than Banani’s imagination.”

Ravioli tries the garage remote from their apartment.

Instead of opening the garage door, it opens the neighbor’s automatic gate and dents his car.

The alarm goes off.

Igor
“…The difference is that reality has no sense of humor.”

Banani, Uber Driver
---

Times are tough.

Banani decides to make some extra money by becoming an Uber driver.

The problem is that he’s a complete clean freak when it comes to his car.

Every time he drops off a passenger, he spends half an hour removing dust from the floor mat.

One day, by pure coincidence, he picks up Ravioli and his family.

Halfway through the ride, Ravioli lets out a silent fart.

The smell is absolutely horrific, and everyone starts vomiting.

Banani immediately pulls over and makes everyone get out so he can clean the car.

But while cleaning it, he starts vomiting too.

Ravioli comes up with a joke, which nobody finds funny…

…and then he vomits too.

Papaia Talks on the Phone at the Supermarket.
---

Papaia goes to the supermarket and receives a phone call.

There are some family problems.

He spends the rest of the day talking on the phone in front of the frozen-food section.

Eventually, the supermarket closes.

The security guard kicks him out.

He hasn’t even done his shopping.

Banani the Illusionist.
---

It’s the company party.

The buffet is boring.

Banani decides to impress the guests with a magic trick.

He ends up with his pants glued to a chair.

Ravioli Falls Asleep on a Date
---

Finally, a woman has agreed to go out with Ravioli.

They go to a restaurant.

Ravioli looks at the prices and orders two Margherita pizzas.

The waiter takes the order and leaves.

She starts talking about her job.

She’s a beautician. She had an argument with her coworker. According to her, it’s because the woman is jealous of her, and blah, blah, blah…

Ravioli looks at her, nodding every now and then, while occasionally glancing toward the kitchen.

The waiter comes out with different dishes, but they’re always for other customers.

The restaurant is packed, and the pizzas are taking forever.

She keeps talking, completely unaware that Ravioli’s eyelids are getting heavier and heavier.

Ravioli eventually collapses.

Then he opens his eyes with his head covered in Coca-Cola.

He looks at the empty chair across from him.

Two whole, lukewarm Margherita pizzas are sitting on the table, with the bill in the middle.

Ravioli
“Well… now I’ve got two pizzas… I guess that’s better.”

Lies Revealed
---

One afternoon, Banani goes to Papaia’s house for a coffee.

Papaia and his wife invite him to sit in the living room, where the children are watching cartoons.

They start chatting about this and that, but then Papaia’s phone rings.

It’s his spendthrift sister, asking him for money again—this time claiming that she’s sick.

After hanging up, Papaia and his wife start arguing.

He wants to send her the money, but his wife thinks his sister is lying.

Banani finds himself caught in the middle of the argument.

Wife
“When are you going to stop being so gullible?”

Papaia
“She’s not lying. You can’t judge her!”

Wife
“Yeah, and what a coincidence that it happens during the week of the 70% discount…”

Papaia turns to Banani, asking for his opinion.

Papaia
“Banani, tell her! Do you think she’s lying?”

Banani looks at Papaia, who is staring at him, waiting for an answer.

But behind Papaia, he can see the TV screen.

At that exact moment, the cartoon character suddenly grows Pinocchio’s nose.

Banani is speechless.

Papaia’s wife starts laughing.

Ravioli Talks Badly About Himself
---

In the cafeteria, Ravioli is sitting with a colleague, criticizing someone named Robbioli, who also works at NASAL.

Colleague
“Have you seen Robbioli?”

Ravioli
“Yeah. Look how fat he’s gotten.”

Colleague
“What do you think happened?”

Ravioli
“It’s obvious. All he thinks about is eating…”

Colleague
“They say he’s caused a lot of trouble…”

Ravioli
“I’ve heard that too… Whenever he gets hungry, he drops everything and everyone and goes to the deli…”

Colleague
“I’ve never seen anyone like him.”

Igor
“Let’s recap… He’s fat, selfish, and thinks only about eating… Someone like that?”

Igor
“Never seen one before!”

How Much Longer?
---

The four of them are on a train, heading to the conference.

Banani is anxious.

After asking at every single stop how much longer they have to go, he ends up making them miss their stop.
---

Car Rental
---

Papaia spends his last bit of money renting a car to get home after a trip.

He makes the payment through the app. Everything goes through fine.

They have just enough money left.

Banani
“Okay, now we just need to take a taxi to the airport to pick it up.”

Papaia goes pale.

Banani
“You’ve got the money for it… right?”

Papaia
“Oops!”

The Red Light That Never Ends
---

Papaia and the others need to cross a busy road.

They reach the traffic light.

They press the pedestrian button, but after ten minutes, the light still hasn’t turned green.

Papaia
“You know what? Let’s just go for it!”

The four of them run across the road as drivers honk and nearly run them over.

Once they reach the other side, they see a pedestrian approaching the traffic light.

He presses the button and then taps his card on a panel they hadn’t noticed.

Immediately, the traffic light turns green, and the pedestrian crosses calmly and safely.

Papaia stops another pedestrian who is about to do the same thing.

Papaia
“Excuse me? Do you have to pay to cross at traffic lights in this city?”

Pedestrian
“No… it’s actually free… but you have to wait 32 minutes. If you pay, the light turns green immediately.”

Igor
“Ah, I see… What’s next? Premium firefighters?”

The Golden Can
---

Break time arrives.

Ravioli rushes to the break room, but forgets a can he brought from home on Papaia’s desk.

Papaia stays in the office instead. He still has a couple of things to finish.

While working, he absentmindedly finds the can with his hand.

Without thinking, he drinks the whole thing, crushes the can, and throws it in the trash. But it's the wrong bin.

Right at that moment, the cleaner arrives, changes the trash bag, and takes the old one away.

Ravioli eats his sandwich while watching TV in the break room.

A commercial comes on: a can with a golden pull tab is opened.

The voice-over says:

Voice-over
“Open the golden tab and win €50,000!”

Ravioli remembers the can.

He runs back to the office, but it’s too late.

Ravioli
“Where did my can go?”

Papaia
“Oh, sorry! I drank it without thinking…”

Ravioli
“Did you look at the tab?”

Papaia
“The tab?”

Ravioli finds the pull tab on the desk.

It’s gold.

Ravioli
“It’s the winning can! They just said it on TV!”

Papaia
“Winning? How much?”

They begin a frantic race to the dumpster, but it’s useless.

There are far too many identical trash bags.

Having lost all hope, and covered in garbage, they return to the office completely dejected.

The next morning, the boss walks into their office and slams a piece of paper onto Papaia’s desk.

Boss
“You’re paying for this!”

Papaia looks at it.

It’s a €100 fine for putting the can in the wrong trash bin.

The Mysterious Sign
---

Papaia approaches the wall.

He notices an unusual sign.

Banani
“What does it say?”

Papaia
“‘Beware of pigeons’…”

Ravioli
“What does that mean? Pigeons don’t bite.”

Papaia
“What is that supposed to mean?”

Pluck.

A pigeon hits Papaia right on the head.

Papaia
“Disgusting!”

Banani
“Ah… there we go.”

Ravioli notices numerous piles of pigeon droppings on the floor.

Ravioli
“They should have just added a downward arrow.”

Igor
“Come to think of it, it would’ve been better if they actually bit.”

Banani Forgets the Money
---

Everything is going well at their new job at the optician’s.

Papaia notices an urgent payment in the management system, due to a creditor the next day.

Fortunately, they have the cash on hand and would just have enough time to deposit it.

But Banani, who has the cash, has brought his two-year-old twins to work.

They are destroying the shop.

While Banani tries to save an expensive designer frame, he explains to the others that the babysitter had an emergency.

Papaia leaves, but the twins immediately start crying desperately.

They want to go with him.

At this point, everyone heads to the bank together.

After a few meters, the twins refuse to stay in the stroller.

Papaia, nervous and frustrated, gives up.

They return to the shop.

To distract them, Ravioli puts nursery rhymes on the monitor of the retinal scanner.

The twins calm down, and Papaia finally sneaks out on tiptoe.

Banani takes advantage of the moment of peace to tidy up the shelves.

He sees a glasses-cleaning cloth and puts it in his pocket, planning to put it away later.

But when he puts his hand into his pocket, he freezes and turns pale.

Ravioli
“What’s wrong?”

Banani slowly pulls something out of his pocket.

The cash.

The very cash Papaia had gone to deposit.
