I recently found out a very interesting book. Cold case Christianity.
The author, J.Warren Wallace, was a police detective, and has worked for many years in the homicide department.
He was an atheist, since for a case, he started reading the gospels in the Bible.
He realized that they were real eye witness accounts, and not only fairy tales.
As he had lot of experience with this matter, he started investigating the Bible with the abductive reasoning. This is the method police, and court uses in order to find the most reasonable explanation for the evidences found in the crime scene.
I’m still reading this book, and I already I got explained why gospels are true eye witness accounts, and why the resurrection of Jesus is the most reasonable explanation for the empty tomb of Jesus, and all the apparitions of Jesus to the apostles and many other people of that time.
