Conservatives and Liberals

Three renowned scientists—Papaia, Banani, Ravioli—and their assistant Igor work at the NASAL observatory.
Ravioli accidentally bought a book, which turns out to be very interesting.
They are discussing Ravioli’s book.

Banani: Ah, I thought the Bible was only studied by theologians.

Ravioli: Actually, the problem pointed out by the author is that there are two categories of New Testament scholars. The first is the “conservatives,” who study the New Testament and are believers. That’s why they consider the Bible to be the word of God and take it as true from the outset. The second group is the “liberal” or “critical” scholars, who are ready to question every piece of content.

Banani: I bet most scholars are “conservatives.”

Ravioli: Exactly! This group represents the overwhelming majority of New Testament scholars, about 90%.

Banani: See! Then these proofs are useless! It’s obvious that most scholars will always agree that the Bible tells the truth. That’s because they base it on their faith!

Ravioli: Of course, the author wouldn’t have even written this book if he hadn’t taken that point into account. In reality, these five facts are accepted and considered true by most critics.

Igor: NASAL, on the other hand, skipped all of that and hired you on trust… the greatest scientific mistake in history!
