At a famous fast-food chain, the burger meat is past its best, but they mask the taste with sauces. That is, until Papaia orders a burger with no sauce.
As soon as the order reaches the kitchen, all hell breaks loose.
The shift manager calls the owner, who rushes over.
Manager
Someone’s ordered a burger with no sauce.
Owner
Impossible. Who would do such a thing?
Manager
Look at this.
The manager shows him the order, then points to Papaia, who’s sitting at a table, completely unaware of what’s going on.
The owner thinks for a moment.
Owner
A burger with no sauce. We can’t serve that. They’d find us out.
Manager
What do we do?
The owner consults the franchise manual. Then he finds the solution.
Owner
Here we go. Paragraph 11, Section 22…
Five minutes later, Papaia receives his burger, absolutely smothered in mayonnaise.
He immediately starts complaining.
Papaia
Oh, no! Same thing here! Do they ever get an order right?
