Scene 18: Up the Stairs.
We are on the hotel stairs.
They are still climbing the stairs. Banani is still talking about the book he found.
Banani: The book says that the cause of the universe must be external to it!
Ravioli: Exactly! We cannot explain the universe with itself. It would be like explaining logic with logic.
Banani: The book provides an even more intuitive example. That of an author who is external to his book.
Papaia: Obviously, the author creates the book, just as the Creator creates the universe… that makes sense!
Banani’s room is on the tenth floor.
Banani: I didn’t think such a shabby hotel could have so many floors!
Ravioli: The main problem is that each floor has only one room!
Papaia: I’ve done well… Here I am on the third floor. Igor, my suitcases go here!
They’ve had poor Igor carry some of their suitcases.
Igor: Gentlemen, I hope that by the end of the month, you’ll remember this extra work!
Papaia: Don’t worry, Igor! You can note it in your notebook!
Igor: If I do another couple of flights, there might not be a new end of the month for me!
