Three scientists \u2014 Papaia, Banani, and Ravioli \u2014 and their assistant Igor, who work at NASAL, start getting interested in creationism. Their superiors, worried, send them to see a psychologist, Professor Faggioli, a dubious character determined to get them fired by making them seem crazy.
We\u2019re in Professor Faggioli\u2019s office, where Ravioli is talking about his childhood, when he used to hide the after-school fish in his backpack to avoid having to eat it.
Raviolino hides the backpack on top of the bookshelf, but just then, his dad enters and starts reading a book. The cat, meanwhile, has found the backpack and begins to open it, causing pieces of fish to fall everywhere. Raviolino manages to get his parents out of the room and retrieves the backpack, chasing the cat away. But now, the living room is full of pieces of rotten fish on the floor.
Ravioli realizes the disaster he and the cat have caused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ravioli:<\/strong> Oh no! Look at this mess! The carpet is full of rotten fish pieces!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ravioli hides the rotten fish under the carpet, quickly closes the backpack, and locks it in the closet. Dad:<\/strong> Are you sure you smelled gas? Everything seems fine in the kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ravioli:<\/strong> Now that I think about it, maybe it was the fish mom made for dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mom:<\/strong> Raviolino, you really scared us! But you did the right thing \u2014 if you smell gas again, you must tell us right away!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ravioli:<\/strong> Yes, Mom, I will! Don\u2019t worry!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The cat, meanwhile, has returned to the living room, drawn by the smell of fish coming from under the carpet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mom:<\/strong> Anchovino, what\u2019s wrong with you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dad:<\/strong> Why won\u2019t this cat stop scratching the carpet! He imagines his parents lifting the carpet and discovering his disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ravioli (nervously):<\/strong> Maybe he\u2019s in heat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mom:<\/strong> Ah, that\u2019s true! Poor Anchovino, do you want a girlfriend?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dad:<\/strong> Oh no! Then we\u2019ll have to get him neutered. Ravioli, go get the carrier. We\u2019re going to the vet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The flashback ends, and we return to Professor Faggioli\u2019s office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Faggioli:<\/strong> So it ended badly for poor Anchovino!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ravioli:<\/strong> Well, yes. We had him neutered that very night. And from that day on, I had a strange feeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Faggioli:<\/strong> What feeling?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ravioli:<\/strong> It was as if the cat held a grudge against me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Igor:<\/strong> With a filthy carpet and chunks of rotten fish, Ravioli had ended up getting Anchovino caught in the mess. Even worse, the cat had lost his ability to procreate.
