Scene 19: The Sauna.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are on the hotel stairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani, all sweaty and out of breath, has reached the tenth floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani: Thanks, Igor! You can leave my suitcases here. By the way, which floor is your room on?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor: On the first floor, sir. I wish you a good night…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor chuckles sarcastically as he heads down the numerous flights of stairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor: The illustrious Banani has been assigned a room on the tenth floor of a building with no elevator. Meanwhile, his humble assistant has been given a room on the first floor. It\u2019s true what the Lord said. Sooner or later, the last will be first!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are in Banani\u2019s room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani: Ah! What infernal heat! I can\u2019t wait to take a cold shower!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani opens the door. In an instant, a blast of heat almost knocks him to the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani: This room is worse than a sauna! The humidity is so high that 100% isn\u2019t enough to measure it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After finding that the window only opens partially, through a small gap, and that the air conditioning isn\u2019t working, Banani gives up, sitting on the bed and continuing to read the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani: It won\u2019t be easy to fall asleep in this heat. Maybe a bit of reading will help…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani reads and reflects: Some time ago, someone proposed that the beginning of the universe could have been caused by a quantum fluctuation. The problem with this is that without time, space, matter, or energy, excluding the existence of God, we would have nothing. But a quantum fluctuation is not nothing; it is something! I remember that even other scientists laughed after the same inventor of this idea had to admit it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani uses the room phone to call Igor\u2019s room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor: Hello?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani: Igor, does your air conditioning work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor: Unfortunately not, sir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banani: Ah, okay! I thought you had managed to turn it on… Alright… that was all… good night!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor: Good night, sir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor hangs up the phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igor: The great Banani is capable of using a particle accelerator but doesn\u2019t know how to turn on a common air conditioner? Obviously, not wanting to offend him, I couldn\u2019t tell him that I\u2019ve already turned mine on. I wonder if the professor has ever considered picking up the remote and pressing the ON button!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
